Kingston Wi-Drive Makes It Easy to Share Media with Friends on Their iDevices

There’s a variety of reasons you may want to share media files with friends and family — at home or on the go. Kingston has a new product called the Wi-Drive that provides 16GB or 32GB of storage. As the video here shows, all you need to do is connect Wi-Drive to your computer with the bundled cable and transfer your files over like another external hard drive. After that, download Kingston’s Wi-Drive app to your iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad to access the files. Wi-Drive supports up to three users at a time. As you can see a product like this could come in handy on a family road trip, at school, or for work. Unfortunately, compatibility beyond Apple’s iDevices is not currently possible. It would be nice to see DLNA added to the mix and Android support in the future. [via]
