HP Shows Why Its TouchPad Tablet is Different (and Better) Than the Competition

Right now HP needs all the help it can get in letting the public know it’s serious about the tablet space. As such, we’re willing to give a helping hand. For the most part it seems many are excited by the possibility of what webOS on the TouchPad can bring. It’s an open development platform, it offers a trick notification system that some would say is the best out there, it’s designed for multitasking, provides innovative features not presently offered by the competition (Just Type, Synergy, Touch-to-Share, Beats Audio, and Exhibition Mode — to an extent), and more. See for yourself and be the judge if there’s room for a 3rd tablet OS (yes, we know there are others out there like the BlackBerry “PlayBook” Tablet OS, Meego, etc.). An interesting side note… HP is demonstarting Citrix Receiver compatibly so enterprise professionals can run full-fledge legacy apps on their tablet device.
