Logitech Goes ‘Green’ with Its New Solar Powered K750 Wireless Keyboard

Reminiscent of the wow factor we all got as kids with solar powered calculators and wrist watches, the new Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 hopes to bring a some of that initial excitement back and help save the planet in the process. The K750 is a RF 2.4 GHz wireless keyboard, 1/3 of an inch thick, made from PVC-free materials which integrates photo voltaic cells for powering the PC peripheral using any available light source. What’s interesting, however, is that when fully charged, the K750 can last up to three months. In addition, K750’s included wireless USB Logitech Unifying receiver is capable of supporting a total of six compatible devices, freeing up your USB ports. Thinking Logitech may be on to something here. MSRP $79.99.

UPDATE – 8/17/11: Now available for Mac in multiple colors.
